A letter from the founder
Back in 2015, I started SQSPThemes with a simple goal: sell Squarespace templates and make $10k a month.
That was it. No grand vision, no master plan. Just me trying to turn my creative problem solving skill into something sustainable.
I didn't know then that this decision would put me on a nearly decade-long path of marketing Squarespace products and services—not just my own, but dozens of others.
I've helped developers turn simple client “favors” into six-figure product lines. I've run affiliate campaigns that brought in tens of thousands for designers while they slept. I've built content and systems that still drive sales years after I created them.
But here's what I learned along the way: the throughline for me was never design or code or templates.
It was marketing.
More specifically, it was helping talented Squarespace pros turn what they already had into consistent demand and predictable growth.
That's what SQSPThemes has always been, even when I didn't have a name for it: a marketing accelerator for Squarespace professionals.
Why You're Here
Most of your friends don't understand what you do. They hear "Squarespace designer" and picture someone dragging blocks around a screen.
They don't see the strategy calls. They don't see the client psychology you navigate. They don't see the weight you carry—holding their business vision in your head, translating their scattered ideas into something that actually works.
So you end up building in silence. On an island. Wondering if you're missing something obvious.
You're not missing talent. Your clients love working with you.
You're not missing proof. The results speak for themselves.
You're not missing demand. People need what you do.
What you're missing is clarity on the assets you already have and a system to turn them into compounding growth.
Most Squarespace pros I work with are sitting on goldmines they can't see. Past clients who would gladly refer more business. Expertise that solves problems worth premium pricing. Processes that could become products. Stories that would attract ideal customers.
The challenge isn't that these assets don't exist. The challenge is that when you're inside your business every day, you can't see them clearly.
That's what this space is about.
If you're here, you've already found what you were looking for—even if you don't realize it yet.
This is the beginning of understanding how the most successful Squarespace professionals think about their businesses—not as service providers scrambling for the next client, but as systematic marketers building assets that compound over time.
