Squarespace Prices Are Going Up. Here’s How to Get 30% Off Through September 7
If you recently got an email from Squarespace telling you your website subscription is getting more expensive, you’re not alone.
Squarespace has started increasing prices for many US customers, with some plans increasing by as much as 20% at renewal.
But there’s a pretty good counterweight right now.
Through September 7, 2026, you can get 30% off eligible Squarespace plans in the US or 50% off internationally.

What changed with Squarespace pricing?
In July, Squarespace began notifying some customers that their subscription pricing would increase at their next renewal.
There was some initial confusion because a number of customers received incorrect notices showing much larger increases. Squarespace later clarified that those notices were sent in error and that the actual increase is capped at 20%.
So if you recently received a higher renewal price, it wasn't necessarily a mistake.
For affected customers, the new price takes effect when the subscription renews after the required notice period.
The timing of this discount is unusually good
Squarespace runs promotions from time to time, but this one is different.
According to Squarespace, this is the highest discount it has ever made available through its affiliate program.
From August 26 through September 7:
US customers can get 30% off Core, Plus, or Advanced with code SQSP30
International customers can get 50% off Core, Plus, or Advanced with code SQSP50
If you were already planning to start a Squarespace website, move a trial onto a paid plan, or upgrade to one of these plans, I wouldn't pay full price during this window.

Which Squarespace plan should you choose?
For most professional websites, I'd start by looking at Core.
Core gives you things like unlimited contributors, advanced analytics, custom JavaScript and code injection, and integrations that aren't available on Basic.
Plus becomes more interesting if you're selling products or digital content and want lower transaction and payment-processing fees.
Advanced is aimed more heavily at businesses doing enough commerce that the lowest fees and additional selling features justify the higher subscription cost.
Don't upgrade just because there's a discount. Pick the lowest plan that actually gives you the features you need.
A couple things to know before you use the code
The discount applies to the initial payment, not every future renewal.
Squarespace also doesn't let you stack an offer code with certain automatic discounts. If another automatic discount applies to your purchase, Squarespace will use the greater discount.
And most importantly:
