Pet care can mean grooming, sitting, walking, boarding, or a mix of services. A pet photograph will make almost any template look relevant for a moment. The more useful question is what surrounds it: a team, a personal introduction, a service menu, or products.
Emmeline is our first pick for a grooming business with a team. Almar offers a more personal direction for an independent sitter or walker. Malone is an animal-focused adaptation, while Wesley is the option for a business whose retail products deserve substantial attention.
1. Emmeline — A grooming salon with people to introduce
Emmeline — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.
Emmeline's salon demo gives services, the team, and appointments visible places in a warm, colorful layout. The arched image and bold lettering make the business feel friendly without relying on decorative pet graphics.
That can transfer naturally to a grooming salon. We'd choose it when visitors need to meet the people caring for their animals and understand the service range. The human hair-salon imagery would change, but the business structure is close. It is less useful for a solo dog walker who doesn't need a team-oriented site.

2. Almar — A sitter or walker with a personal reputation
Almar — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.
Almar's large portrait and warm introductory message make the professional feel present from the start. Its coaching demo is built around a personal relationship rather than a busy service catalog.
We'd adapt it for an independent pet-care provider whose reputation is closely tied to them personally. A photograph with an animal could make that introduction specific without changing the underlying composition. Compared with Emmeline, the emphasis is on choosing a person, not choosing among several staff members or treatments.

3. Malone — An animal-focused organization
Malone — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.
Malone opens with a dog photograph, an oversized welcome message, and a visible set of organizational links. The demo is an animal-adoption organization, so it already has the right visual subject matter but a different purpose.
We'd consider it for a larger pet-care business that wants a substantial animal-focused introduction. The adoption and nonprofit framing would need to be replaced, not simply left in place around a new logo. Emmeline is closer to grooming; Malone is worth comparing when the organization's broader identity matters more than a salon-like presentation.

4. Wesley — Pet care with a strong product business
Wesley — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.
Wesley's bright yellow opening introduces a pet-product shop with a clear product statement and a dog photograph. It feels retail-led rather than like a local care provider.
That makes it relevant when the shop is a meaningful part of the business. We'd choose it for a pet brand that also offers services, rather than a sitter who happens to sell a few items. The visual emphasis is an honest signal about what visitors are expected to browse. Our Squarespace ecommerce review looks at the platform's store experience.

Start with the relationship you're selling
For grooming, we'd open Emmeline first. For personal sitting or walking, we'd compare Almar. Malone is the larger animal-focused adaptation; Wesley belongs in a retail-led business's shortlist.
A pet image is easy to add. The harder decision is whether the page should introduce an individual, a team, or a brand. Our template-selection guide can help with that distinction. You can also browse the template directory or describe your particular service to the template finder.
