Best Squarespace Templates for Lawyers and Law Firms

There is more than one way for a law firm to look credible. A solo attorney might need a direct introduction and a clear explanation of the work. A larger practice may need a website that gives services and people equal weight. Neither automatically needs a gavel photograph or a wall of stock-market-blue graphics.

Corrigan is our first native pick for a law firm. Cedar offers a more distinctive professional-services identity, while Nolan and Clarkson are alternatives for firms with broader content. For a paid design already built around legal services, we'd compare Nautilus and Docket.

1. Corrigan — The most direct native legal starting point

Corrigan — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.

Corrigan's demo opens with business and intellectual-property attorneys stated in large serif type against a dark background. Areas of practice and the team are immediately visible in the navigation. A substantial introduction follows, with contact information placed alongside it.

The design already understands the basic shape of a professional practice: explain the focus, introduce the firm, and provide a route to contact. We'd choose it for a boutique practice that wants clarity without much visual theatre. Its restraint is the attraction. It won't create a particularly individual brand on its own, but it gives one a sensible setting.

2. Cedar — A firm with a stronger visual identity

Cedar's financial-advisory demo leads with a large written statement and an oversized business name on a bright green background. It is more expressive than Corrigan while still feeling like a professional-services website.

We'd consider it for a business-facing law firm that wants to feel modern without looking like a creative agency. The opening gives positioning real weight, which is useful when the specialty needs explaining. It is a financial-services adaptation, so the reason to choose it is the typography and composition—not an assumption that a particular color makes a firm trustworthy.

3. Nolan — A practice presenting substantial work

Nolan — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.

Nolan uses a dark opening, a short agency introduction, and a large team photograph. Separate links for work, services, company, and contact give a firm room to explain different parts of the business.

We'd choose it when the practice has enough approved representative work and service material to support a fuller site. It is less immediately legal than Corrigan, but more naturally project-oriented. For a solo attorney needing a compact introduction, that extra emphasis may be unnecessary. Our Nolan review looks at the original agency presentation.

4. Clarkson — A larger organization with several areas to explain

Clarkson — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.

Clarkson's demo introduces a conservation organization through a wide opening photograph and distinct blocks of supporting text. The composition feels organizational: a mission, several subjects, and a prominent next step.

That can translate to a firm with multiple practice areas and a broader public identity. The landscape-led opening would need different imagery, and Corrigan remains the simpler legal starting point. We'd choose Clarkson when the firm has enough material to justify a more expansive introduction rather than using a large template to make a small practice look bigger.

5. Agaro — A firm comfortable with a less conventional look

Agaro — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.

Agaro is an agency demo with large sans-serif text, a vivid purple background, and an informal team photograph. It is noticeably more expressive than the other native options in this list.

We'd consider it for a practice whose own identity already leans contemporary—perhaps one serving creative businesses. The appeal is the visual confidence and room for a clear services statement. It would be a poor choice if you plan to remove everything distinctive about it. Cedar offers personality with less distance from a conventional professional practice.

6. Nautilus — A paid design specifically for law firms

Nautilus by Studio Mesa is a legal-focused alternative with a fuller set of designed pages. We'd compare it when a firm's services, people, and experience all need a clear place. It is a more relevant paid shortlist candidate than adapting an unrelated portfolio solely for its appearance.

The seller lists it as a new-site template with custom-code plan requirements. That delivery model matters if you are redesigning an existing Squarespace website.

7. Docket — A more guided, message-led legal website

Docket — seller-provided preview, credited to StorySite.

Docket by StorySite organizes its legal demo around the client's situation, services, and repeated invitations to contact an attorney. It has a more explicit sales-page rhythm than Corrigan's restrained professional introduction.

We'd consider it for a practice that wants help structuring the message as well as the visual design. The demo contains placeholder text and example packages, so judge the arrangement rather than treating those examples as a recommendation for your own practice.

Which law-firm template would we choose?

For a small firm starting without a strong visual direction, we'd open Corrigan first. Cedar is our alternative when the brand should feel more individual. Nolan and Clarkson make sense when there is substantially more firm content to organize; Agaro belongs on the shortlist only when its personality fits.

Nautilus and Docket make the paid decision more concrete: do you prefer a fuller professional-practice presentation or a more guided, message-led page? You can compare other independent designs in our premium template guide, or use the template finder to narrow the search around your firm.
