Best Squarespace Templates for Gyms and Fitness Studios

A gym can be intimidating, welcoming, competitive, neighborhood-oriented, or all of those things at different times. The website's first job is to give someone a believable sense of the place. A template that looks impressive with a fitness model isn't automatically the best one for a community gym.
Klipsan is our strongest all-round starting point for a gym. Irving feels more like a local strength-training space, Rotate suits a studio with a bolder personality, and Colima offers a calmer alternative for class-based businesses.
1. Klipsan — A gym with several offerings
Klipsan — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.
Klipsan leads with an athlete, a large image, and assertive lettering. Its navigation separates classes, instructors, locations, and the shop. That gives a visitor an immediate sense of the business's breadth without asking a single homepage section to explain everything.
We'd use it for a facility with enough photographs and programming to support that presentation. The design has energy, but the strongest reason to choose it is the way the business is organized. A small studio with one instructor and one class type may find Irving or Colima a more proportionate starting point.

2. Irving — A neighborhood strength gym
Irving — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.
Irving is more straightforward. The gym name sits in a simple header, a workout photograph fills the opening, and the classes section follows quickly. Black and white give it a familiar strength-training character without much decorative framing.
That directness suits a business where visitors mainly need to understand the environment and available training. We'd choose Irving over Klipsan for a smaller local operation that wants fewer competing messages. Its personality will depend heavily on your own photographs: the layout gives the training space the starring role.

3. Rotate — A studio with a strong visual identity
Rotate — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.
Rotate is built around dance and movement, and its opening makes that clear through an enormous wordmark, dramatic portrait, and high-contrast colors. The design has the confidence of a poster rather than the restraint of a conventional service website.
It's a good candidate for dance fitness, boutique movement classes, and studios with a recognizable creative identity. We'd be less inclined to choose it for a gym trying to communicate quiet, low-pressure personal training. Rotate is memorable because of its personality, so your own brand needs to meet it halfway.

4. Bogart — Sport and community before individual coaching
Bogart — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.
Bogart's split opening pairs a sports photograph with a large block of introductory copy. The bright blue and open composition feel more like an athletic community than a luxury wellness club.
That makes it an interesting option for sports clubs, group training, or a community-focused facility. It gives a message about belonging room to compete with the image. We'd pick Klipsan for a fuller gym presentation and Bogart when the shared experience is the main reason people join.

5. Colima — A quieter class-based studio
Colima — official demo, captured October 18, 2026.
Colima's yoga photograph, muted green palette, and upcoming-classes heading set a gentler pace. The opening contains enough atmosphere to show the space without burying the route to classes.
It works best when the studio experience is calm and instructor-led. Pilates, stretching, and small-group movement businesses could adapt that presentation naturally. A high-intensity training business would need a more substantial change of imagery and tone. The layout is flexible, but the demo's particular strength is the feeling of an inviting place to practice.

Choosing the right atmosphere
Our shortlist starts with Klipsan for breadth, Irving for simplicity, and Rotate for personality. Colima belongs in the conversation when calm matters more than intensity. Bogart is the option we'd examine when the community deserves as much attention as the equipment.
Look at the opening with your real photographs in mind. Wide shots of the facility, classes in progress, and portraits all create different expectations.
